Following yet another YouTube tutorial, I began a baby blanket for a friend from work. She specifically said NO PINK! I picked up some Bernat Baby Yarn in light mint green and white. I was planning on working it with a solid color but somewhere along the line I got the brilliant idea to make matching baby booties. I'm almost halfway done with the blanket, so I should have enough thread left over to make those booties. I've been neglecting my tatting to work on this. First because the stitch work is really easy to remember. Second, it works up quickly. I did have to pull a whole row out because I forgot how I was alternating the colors. I decided on working five rows of white with two rows of green in between. Then I would simply decrease the number of white rows until I get to one white to two green rows. This would be my middle point of the blanket.
